The 2012 edition of NFPA 99, “Health Care Facilities Code,” specifies that persons maintaining medical gas equipment must be qualified through training and certification.  This training format must enable focus on the style of equipment in service at your facility.  The effective date of the new standard is January 1st, 2012.

Certified Medical Testing has developed an online training program tailored to Local 39 hospital engineers.  This interactive 5-hour online program will enable you to gain instruction customized to the style of equipment residing in your facility’s piped medical gas systems.
